Confirmation classes are being transitioned to the 8th grade. As the Diocese of Lafayette has decided to place this new policy into motion, we are working hard to design and transition confirmation to the 8th grade. This policy went into effect, July 2023. 

Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church will be confirming all students in the 8th-11th grade for the 2024-2025 school year. For those students who have not be confirmed as a 9th, 10th, and 11th grader for the 2023-2024 school year, should make sure they are signed up for classes for this coming school year 2024-2025. 

All high school students who have made their confirmation are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to register for the continuing formation course to take place once a month. This will be focused on Sacred Scripture. 

Classes for Confirmation begin on September 8th and classes for Continuing Formation begin September 24th.
